South Jakarta Environment Sub-agency has distributed waste handling facilities to 288 RWs during January 2024.

Sub-agency Head, Mohamad Amin, explained the distributed facilities were carts, hanging scales, bench scales, buckets, composter barrels, trash cans, sacks, dust bins and EM4 liquid.

According to him, the facilities distribution was aimed to assist early waste management based on Governor Decree No 77/2020 about Communal Waste Management.
"Waste sorting and handling will decrease waste disposed to Bantar Gebang landfill," he added.
Meanwhile, BPS RW 07 caretaker, Pesanggrahan Urban Village, Hadi Winarno, thanked to the sub-agency for distributing the facilities to his area.
"We'll continue our activity in handling waste and take care the facilities well," he said.
